Congrats. A well presented piece that caters to the grinder mostly, but I am sure even the dedicated entertainer beginer can get a lot from this.

to alter jaw you use 'jaw' in the macro instead of 'hair_color'

eyebrow shape is 'eyebrows'

eyebrow color is 'eyebrows_color'

at least I think... haven't checked it since I don't have ID anymore

In regards to the image design part I'm having trouble with my twilek....the only option I have at novice is hair...then lekku after that.

i tried the command /imagedesignSetValue self hair_lekku 03; but nothing happened...do you have any suggestions?

I read up on the ID boards and I think that lekku position is /imagedesignSetValue self frills

Much as I hate AFK grinders, I have found that because the xp is so slow for Dancing XP, I've been running a self-calling (I repeating) macro when I've been eating/AFK. However, in my defence, I don't publicly do this (I set my toon away dancing in her house) and I'm purely working on Dancing/Musician XP, so I'm not "stealing" Healing XP from other players.

The problem I have is that I keep being declared as AFK automatically. Presumably at some point, I'll get booted back to the login screen, correct?

Is there a way round this?

(As you may have gathered, I have very little experience in macros!)

Thanks,

Tyl

You can disable auto-afk in the options menu somewhere. afk macros I run i usually put in a /tell to myself as well.

If you go to the Options Menu (CTRL+O) there's a tab on the left that says AFK. There you can edit your AFK message, whether you will auto-AFK flag, and how long you have to be idle for it to auto-AFK you. If you run a macro in which commands are executed and xp is gainedyou will stay in game for a LOT longer than just being idle without a macro running. I've never been booted during the daytime, so the nightly boots may be just from server maintenance.

Also, there's no 'shame' in AFK grinding since I feel the devs dropped the ball on the Entertainer profession. As long as you do it in a home or in an empty cantina (places that could use a healer), no one will mind as long as you're not /shouting all over the place in your macro.

It's the AFK dancing in Coronet with the tip begging /shout macro running that urks people.

Anywho, hope that helps!

Great guide!

One question - can ID branch of Ent. profession be done on yourself? Can whole master Id be done on self too? Whats the big deal I read about having someone kick accept for you to macro ID - if you can do it all yourself - guess itd be just faster having someoen accept?

Can Master Musician be mastered on crafting like the Musician branch of Entertainer?

Thanks!

Yes it can. Get some muon and brandy and some mind buffs and go to town on yourself.

Yes all of ID can be done on yourself (if you're human. Other races may have to do the first couple of boxes on others). The macro I put in the first post is for IDing your self. You can use that Macro to get Master Image Designer too.

Yes you can get 2 branches of Musician by crafting. There are two branches that require Entertainer Healing XP which is gained by healing Mind Wounds and Battle Fatigue. The two branches you can craft-grind are the Buffing line (for a 75% increase in Focus/Willpower) and the Knowledge line (for every song but Virtuoso which you get at Master).

Coolio, good job, thanks!
- Is it normal that I get only 12 XP for coloring my hear?
- How much XP do you get for each slithorm made? Do some other isntruments at higher lvl musicianship give more XP?
- What about this - ID macro in toolbarSlot00 that clicks /ui action toolbarSet01-23 and a Moun Gold in each! That will make you down a Moun as soon as you can (downer gone)? Or better yet - every other spot on the tool bar - in between are the Vasaya Brandies - take those when you can to helo with downer?!

In the original post, I said that each coloring of the hair will yield 12 ID XP I hear that the 12xp is only 25% of what you get for IDing someone else. I haven't tested it, but if you get someone else to click 'accept' furiously, then you should get 48xp per click. That would be ridiculously fast and get to you Image Design IV almost too fast.

- How much XP do you get for each slithorm made? Do some other isntruments at higher lvl musicianship give more XP?
In the original post, I said that each slitherhorn made in practice will yield a bit over 90 musician xp. The 'normal' crafting xp formula is[# of resources used] x 2 = Crafting XP. Doing that in practice gives an extra 5% bonus. So instead of 90, you should be getting 94.5 xp. Some items are slightly off the formula though (on the 1:2 ratio. the 5% is always true/accurate).

I haven't played with the new foods, but I think that the Brandies are either +300 Mind, Focus, Willpower or +200 M, F, and W. Either way, if you can get your Focus up to 1500, you should be fine. If you have about 500-600 Focus naturally, get a Master Musician Buff to double that, then take a food/spice for the rest of the focus. A good spice to take instead of Muon if you have the Musician Buff is Gabaki Grey (or however it's spelled). It's a spice for +500 Focus. Since it doesn't mess with Willpower or Mind, you'll never getting incap'd or worry about horrid regen rates. If you have the food (which I think is a bit expensive), then by all means use it if you want to. If you're buffed to about 1000-1200 Focus/Willpower, then you'll only need one other buff to have unlimited ID for however long it lasts. So whether it's Brandy, Muon, Grey, or some other food I don't know about, it should do the job just fine.

This guide was written a while ago before the Chef overhaul. So, if someone wants to post the stats of various foods from the newest publish, then I'll edit the original post and then fix all the typos I've got in there
