sweaty..this is one of the profession that needs to be bumped up in xp alittle..every profession has u doing stuff..crafting..killing..healing and what not..all give good xp...but to sit at your computer for hour as a novice and get 1k xp for 1 hour...when u need 35k to get to musician....35hours of boring game play...no...then u get musician and its even more XP per skill..times 4...ya go ahead say it...if i wanted this prof..then deal with sitting and doing it.....besides most people dont talk to us when YOU come to US for mind healing...hmm...why cant u heal yourself if u dont wanna deal with a AFK entertainer cause we are macroing....oh well.SO BE IT

Guess what? NOBODY GIVES A **edit**. I don't care if you are afk or not. I don't know you and won't talk to you, unless I have business, i.e. buffs, to discuss, I have my guild for chit chat, and my friends. You provide a service, mind heal, its boring to me, but you are a socializer, im not, when a holo tells me to master your prof, and i do it efficiently, i.e. not taking 3 months, you get mad and scream MACROTAINER. Wow, get over it, its a GAME. I don't tip the AFKers and don't expect to be tipped when im not. It is NOT your cantina, but the property of SOE. I don't care that you spend 10 hours a day at the keyboard dancing your heart out, happy for you! I am not going to. THIS is a INGAME MACRO SYSTEM. Set up by the DEVS, regardless of whether a person uses it to afk or not, it is ingame, there fore NOT AN EXPLOIT. And if at such time the DEVS, not you, decide it is something they don't want in the game, THEY will remove it. Ok /rant off.

P.S. save your flames for someone who cares, because i sure as hell don't and guarantee i will never read this again, and if you do flame me, lol, it just proves two things, one you are childish, two i touched on the truth and it pisses you off.

Thanks for the info. I promise I'll blow through this as fast and as quitely as I can. I will not ask for tips, I'm rich already so I don't need them. BUT, you may not like me using/say "Please don't tip me, I don't need it, but please do listen to me so I can finish this Prof ASAP"

P.S. There is nothing in the EULA about using tools provided by the dev's to accomplish in game tasks, i.e. Macro's. So many notes I read boil down to, if you use a macro for any purpose, other then to say some long winded hello or goodbye, then you are exploiting. This is simply not true, if it was true the Dev's could kill Marco's in less then a minute, they don't because SWG has a hard enough time holding it's player base they don't want to increase the boredom factor to satisfy a few S&M, more M then S, types.

this macro is a **edit**ing joke, not even worth copy/pasting needs a sh|tload of editing, /sigh

If you read the info in the holocron (ctrl+h.. or shift+h in my case) it says that afk macroing is OK and even talks a bit about how to afk-macro while dancing/playing music.

I'm not lieng, search for yourself.

I can't get /ui action toolbar02 to be accepted as a valid command.

What is the answer oh wise ones?

Here is how we as players, can help alleviate the AFK problem in cantinas for entertainers.

1.) No AFK group leaders.

2.) No AFK group leaders. (Really, this is the biggest frustration, If you are the leader and about to go AFK , find a live performer and pass over the reigns or /disband.)

3.) AFKers should step to the shadows. ( If you are not going to play, don't hog centerstage. Let the live performers be the center of attention and move to a corner be fore leaving your computer)

4.) No yelling or begging. (No one wants to hear you begging every 30 sec. If you absolutely need to ask for heals or tips, write a better Macro that does it every 10 mins, so you are not spamming people who want to enjoy the cantina.)(No, just ignoring you is not the answer. what happens when you want an invite to the group ot training and everyone is ignoring you.)

5.) Patronize live performers. (If you are looking for a mental rejuvenation, try to look and watch/listen the performers that are there as opposed to the AFK ones, even if the y are prettier. LOL)

6.) Try to make live groups. (If you are in a group with a bunch of AFKers and see someone straggling alone, try to get them an invite or drop out and start recruiting with them. often either the leader will return or you will slowly build a band as big or better.)

I know you may get less xp as a performer by doing some of these, but ultimately the player who is there's fun should take precedence of your desire to for xp. Alot of this we can do from our own end. hopefully with the new changes to the jedi system there will be fewer holo grinders, which should help alleviate the problem.

my name is whiteness, and I afk entertain

i got entertainer for my first holocron, and I liked it before but could not keep it, and so I started grinding away inside my house on Naboo. I didn't want to get in anyone's way and I was sick of cantinas so full of afk'si couldn't move. then I was out in lok and moved there, and realized how hard it is to find an entertainer sometimes. So i am now always on stage(untilI master)off to the side and outta the way dancing for the poor soul who got his mind blown away on Lok. I don't want to master this the "hard way", as soon as I master I will drop all of ID and dancing, and just have the musician and entertainment healing skills. Then you can be free from my afk imposition.
