Thread: AFK Get over it please!
i actually think the current cantinas are an improvement...now i can actually talk to other PATRONS with out all the lame emotes from the entertainers and their non stop banal chit chat.
Wait, are you saying that it's easier to talk in the cantinas nowadays ? There are no lame emotes now with 40 bots spamming them like there is no tomorrow ? That you are happy that there is no banal chitchat like "invite me pls", "I'm on auto.join", "heal me pls", "tips appreciated" today ? You know, you can create an account with SOE and I'm sure they'll let you play SWG once you pay. Please save us a lot of thinking and don't post here until you have created a character on a server of your choice. Try it, it's supposed to be fun.
Then the people who come to the cantina will be ones that really want to "see a show" or "shoot the breeze" or hear that midi play one more time
Thats the way the game works. Interdependence. You only get weapons from crafters, you only get wound healing from healers and you only get battle fatigue healing from entertainers. All of them want compensation, but I bet if you offer enough money, you could find a good weapon, a good buff and a silent entertainer if that is what you are after.

then your profession's purpose is not to entertain...it is to HEAL BF...thats all you guys are here to do...afk people can do it just as well as the live dancers..all of this chit chat and interaction you guys speak off has nothing to do with healing BF
(ps...I have never given an entertainer a dime...why do you think its worth something..all you people do is stand in one spot...it takes no effort...)

I'm questioning the validity of any evidence brought forth here. Not even enough to warrant taking to trial.

I maintain that if it wasnt for holo grinding and AFK macros there wouldnt be enough people who wanted to do the entertainment proffession to give mind buffs.
Think about what you just said. If they were doing it for a holo, they could care less about master dancer/musician for the buff. All they care about is the jedi.
Only the non-hologrinders want to buff people anyway.
And then read the above quotes

Don't much care about the AFK thing but trying to get a invite to a group for the past 2 days is starting to sux..
Atleast the group leader should be available I would think...
Lack of roleplay? Yes. Lack of the dancer services that most (combat) players visit the cantinas to get? No.
Just my .02
