I personally don't go to the NPC cantinas much anymore - but I know a group from Groov hang out in Coronet - Good times can be found there most of the time - Groov also hangs out at Soul City in Naboo.

Question - was 2 weeks not enough advance notice for this?

I think 2 weeks is plenty of notice. There are always going to be some who wish they had more time to prepare for a crawl but the point is to go and have fun..I can do thatjust fine with lower level dances andwithout worrying over making it into a grind.

Hehe. Actually I created Tash around August 2003 and it wasn't lekku envy that drove me to it - but clothing envy! I had never worn clothing except the few pieces there were for wookiees and I desperately wanted to try them (
) I even bought clothing for my humanoid friends and bugged them to try them on for me. So finally I created what I intended to be the anti-Paks. She would live completely in cities, make all her money doing crafting missions and basically be a cantina rat. I started on Rori - so long ago that there were actually people there and the cantina was hopping!
All went according to plan until Calculus became the Ranger Corr and started doing Great Ranger Meets on Wanderhome. Can you imagine my dismay - a huge Ranger get together, and my character on that server was a Master Image Designer! I almost deleted her, but I couldn't. So I went to the meet and a bunch of the Rangers wanted help making themselves look like their main toon so I was happy. I found out later that Calculus thought I was some random image designer who had happened upon the meet and started following them around and he almost told me to get lost.
That would have been too funny - kicked out of the first Great Ranger Meet!
Since then I have started playing on Wanderhome more and more and Tash is by far my most interesting character. Master Image Designer, Master Entertainer, some scout, novice medic and some TKA. She can pretty much do everything in the game except craft. When the skill point decrease for ID comes through I'm going up the Musical Knowledge line.
I really enjoy Wanderhome. It is smaller than Radiant and has more of a community feel I think. You see the same people around often. And it is easy to become known as a personality. I joined a guild there and it is funny to hear them speak of Wanderhome history and specific people who did specific things and when. On Radiant there are so many people that names and deeds get lost. People remember guilds, but rarely individuals.
I really like Wanderhome and I think it is a place where a big Crawl could have real impact.

Tempest is very like that, with the small population and tight-knit community. You hit the nail on the head with people talking about the history of the server and about specific people who did things and such
. Very much enjoyable for me (though the small population has its downsides too of course).

I might be able to make it out to this. I had a character on Wanderhome once, but I think I had to delete it. If I'm free I'll roll up a new character and join ya!
