(At least cut down frequence, the degree of verbosity, and the chance of the same sentence appearing 4 times simultaneously.)

and it would be great if a high rank imperial could just order them to leave the cantina when there arent any rebel combatants or SF in.

I'll take ST spam over :

"Invite me I'm on auto-join, plz!"

"Tip us plz!"

"Buff starts in 1 minute...only the leader should invite...yadda yadda mindless buffbot spam"

"Highest tip is X."

"Heal plz..."

Sound familiar? Instead of petitioning to get rid of something that actually ADDS immersion to the SW galay, why not petition to get rid of something that takes it away, like AFK bots?

Hm, well players have been petitioning for the removal of unattended gameplay since beta, I think...no form of spam contributes to immersion...

Not sure I want to sign this one... I loathe the spam these things generate, don't get me wrong. But if they weren't so frequent and actually made some SENSE, I might actually enjoy them. See here for some thoughts on the code behind these automatons, and REPLY to the thread! Been having a heck of a time getting TH or anyone else to acknowledge it.

Right now, the NPCs are very annoying. When they first came in and caused some trouble, it was fun. But when they come in every couple minutes and say the same old thing, it really gets old fast.

I started a new character that is an entertainer-just wanted to try it out. And I've finally experienced these patrols (oddly, perhaps just luck I never saw them with my combat character when I'd go into cantinas for BF and mind wounds). The first time I thought it was hilarious and had a good laugh. The second time the guy started repeating lines, still a little funny but not as much. After that, well it's kind of become boring. I disagree with removing patrols, but would like to seesome work done to make things a little more interesting. Have two stormtroopers walk in at the same time and chat with each other a bit, heck make one a good cop and one a bad cop, that'd be a riot! Just more dialog, reduced route times, and a few random elements to spice things up. Instead of getting rid of something, just make it better.

I dont know if we can get the devs to pull them or not to be honest, but i can say that if enough people sign this then our voice will be heard, i will push this petition hard if everyone stands behind me, please do not bash soe in this thread, lets keep it a legal petition, and formal, and i promise to fight this fight for all the entertainers. if you stand behind me, i will get it done.

If you guys want to do a petition here, please post your reasons along with the "/sign". They usually do not react well to a thread full of "/sign". Everything looks good so far, imho.
