In a somewhat similar spirit of the initial post. My one difference is that I want adventurers to come back into town.

I agree that there is a problem with entertainment not being available for adventurers on out of the way places. I also recognize that AFK entertaining helps alleviate this problem. But I would like to present a potential solution to this problem. That being an entertainer bazaar terminal.

The basic premise is that an entertainer could tape their show and then sell it on an entertainer bazaar terminal in a cantina. Anadventurer could then purchase this program to heal themselves.

I think there are a number of questions and discussion points with something like this, off the top of my head, here are some of them:

  1. Why would an adventurer deal with live entertainers? Well, I would recommend that these be put in out of the way places in a cantina (possibly the back room). Players will have to go a bit further out of their way for entertainment, plus they HAVE to pay for entertainment from an entertainer terminal.
  2. How would you tape a show? Well there is already proximity logic in the game, as used by crafting stations. I would think that the entertainer would have to be in a similar range, to the entertainer terminal,to tape their show. The viewer would have to sit in a similar proximity for healing.
  3. How would you place the show on the terminal? Well I would think that it would be a good idea to present shows in lengths of time (1 minute, 5 minute or so on).On the terminal, the show would show a cost to purchase, the length of time, the artist, the song/dance and the would and BF healing percent.
  4. Financial benefits to the artist? Artists have another way to make money, specifically by providing a service.
  5. Experience benefits to the artist? I believe that there is already a process to award collectors of resources or creators of components experience if someone else uses their item for crafting. I think it would be good if the recording artist obtains healing experience when someone listens to their recording.

I am sure there are likely a number of problems with this concept. But I thought I would throw it on the table.
