To be honest, I wouldn't mind being the entertainer correspondent, but that objectively identifying relevent issues as opposed to passionate arguments is a hard one.

If someone is passionate about something, I'd say it's pretty relevant. I don't know that I can be unbiased on some issues.

Waho no offense but you would be about as good at it as I would be what with your flaming and all...

I'm passionately againstAFK macroing. That much I confess openly. But I think I'm pretty open to other ideas and concerns. I'd love to be a correspondent because I've been an entertainer since during beta and I'd feel like I'm contributing to making it better. But I just don't think I'd have as much time as I feel I'dneed to keep up with all the postsor write detailed reports.

Are you confusing me with someone else? Anyway, I couldn't do it.

I don't want to flame.

But I ask me sometimes, why SOE wants to have a new correspondent.

Til today neither in the entertainer nor the musican nor the dancer nor the image designer board one Dev responded to the first top issues, or said at least "hello, we think on you".

Sorry sometimes I have the feeling the Devs do not care about us

I do think I'd be a good correspondent, I have the time, I am ME/NM/ND plus have other characters to see our issues from a different ( customer ) perspective. However, as it stands, there is no correspondence between SOE and their player base, so I don't see why a correspondent is needed. It would probably the most frustrating job of my life.

WhenSOE is communicating ( and they will, because they will go down otherwise ), I'd be happy to help channeling the communication. 'till then, I'm not wasting my time.

The developers aren't posting replies to issues on each profession's board... but there have been responses to the correspondents' emails to the developers. Also, issues from the boards have been addressed in patches already, and we have been told about some other items that will be addressed down the line.

And no offense to anyone, but if you aren't a master entertainer please don't apply. If you don't have a thorough knowledge of all branches of entertainment, you are going to overlook those which you are unfamiliar with, and will also be unable to adequately relay what the issues are. Just play another month or so until you get there, and then apply please.

Where is casper... I think you need to apply for this... maybe you would entertain more often then!

Hey, Xahn, maybe you should colorize the word NEW in your subject line. The current one tends to blend in with the other stickied stuff at the top and look like its an old thread being rehashed.

If no-one's jumping on the bandwagon, I'll toss my hat in the ring. I've been a master entertainer for most of Live and I DON'T plan on becoming a master musician or dancer. I'll freely admit, though, that I often avoid the entertainer forum in favor of the dancer/musician forums because it tends to turn into the "how do I force people to give me tips" forum. If I was a correspondent I'd be putting tip coercion at the bottom of my priority list in preference to finding ways to make entertainers more relevant to the game as a whole.
