hehe nice pics i didnt mind leading the SW1 band behind the bar as of late (was the ithorian muscian) really wouldnt mind doin the same thing again next time if i could find all the people in my band again

Y'know, a couple of the photos have an almost paint-like quality to them. I especially like the one with the entertainer effects in the background. Zoomed-out, when I first saw it, I thought it looked like something out of French Impressionism.

After two crawls in a row where I said "I can't make it because of work" only to be let go early, my job finally fulfilled its ambition to keep me away. Maybe the fatal mistake was that this time I didn't say I couldn't make it. I hope everybody had a good time.

Oh, and Javier? I can't make the next crawl because of work.

It was a blast and I will be at the next one. Sorry I don't plan to be in the beginner band this time although it was a fantastic group. It was cool seeing all the people I've met here on the boards.

well, i will be at the next one too...but not as Eechuta. He's gonna go POOF! in the next few weeks. I'll probably make a male twi'lek dancer so i can have a chance with some of the female twi'lek dancers.....

Are these Cantina Crawls always on a certain Server? Because I havethree dancers on three servers actually(Gorath, Starsider, Lowca) and they look so fun! It would be so cool to be in a Video. Does anyone know if anyone on those threeservers do Cantina Crawls? And can anyone participate?

Everyone is welcome to roll up a character on Bria to attend the Cantina Crawls or to create your own on your server(s). Bria's very own Javier is the master mind behind the orginal concept of the Cantina Crawl, but he doesn't seem to mind others using the name to start their own.

On Bria the CCs happen every 2-3 weeks and the idea behind it is to hit several player cantinas on a chosen planet. We often end up at a static cantina just to show what real entertaining is all about. Take into consideration though, that not all player cities are going to appreciate an invasion of entertainers (don't get us started about Strongbadia) and it might be a good idea to try to contact the mayor of each city you are planning to go to ahead of schedule for permission and so they can get the word out about the event.

I think it would be fabulous if there could be Cantina Crawls and Starport Jams and Cantinapaloozas on every server out there!

There IS an advantage to having the crawls on the same server a lot, and that is people who roll up a character to join the crawls there can work that character up to mastery and feel sure their effort will be worth it.

Believe me, I know how painful it is to re-grind dancer/musician. I'm in the process of experiencing it myself again on a couple of other servers. Nobody likes to dance basic (let's not even go near footloose), and if we moved the crawls from server to server, just about everyone would be dancing basic all the time.

In the end, the real reason the crawls all happen on Bria is because I have the means to run them there. I have people who back me there and I'm a master tailor there. I'm not rich, but others help offset the costs of the crawls, which often run into the hundreds of thousands of credits. We have a base of live entertainers that are supportive, active and fun, and they know me and don't laugh at me when I come up with crazy ideas. Or not much at least.

That said, I would support (and try to attend) any event on any server driven by the love of live entertainment.
