Thread: Request For Data From Entertainers! Player Owned Cantinas DO Spawn Entertainer Terminal Missions
Its like this, LeBob. As an Imperial factioned dancer, I cannot indicate my presence on the world map in a cantina that was placed by a neutral or Rebel, overt, covert or otherwise. Likewise, a neutral can ONLY indicate their presence on the world map in a cantina placed by a neutral.
Now /registration is an important advertising tool for me (or at least it should be if we finally get rid of the bugs). It shows anyone who checks the world map where service is available, and also shows me where my services may or may not be needed. By looking at the world map or mission terminals, I have no real indication on where I as an Imperial dancer may or may not register, and as a result, only by actually going to the cantina itself may I discover one way or the other whether I can actually tell the world "I'm here! Come watch me." As a result, there either has to be a way terminals may only spawn missions a dancer or musician can actually use the /registration tool, or the current limitation on faction only /registration has to be lifted. Neither one of these are currently available, and that more than anything else will dissuade individuals of higher skill from taking player city cantina missions.

am I being naive to think that a given individual (particularly an entertainer who should be specialized in matters such as this) would not know the factional alignments of every player city on the planet, and indeed on other planets, in which he/she lives?
I know the factional alignments of all the cities on Tatooine... and a few on Naboo....
not to say that I don't think those things you mentioned should be fixed....
NPCs also spawn entertainer missions in player owned cantinas! Yay!
Had a chat with an NPC in the wilderness on Naboo and he sent me to Kittens, a player city on bria.
I found that it took longer to get the mission to turn over than the normal missions and it only payed out after I had been dancing in the audience pit, rather than the stage.
Maybe the stage in player owned cantinas is too far from the waypoint to count you as performing?
Anyhow 300CR and 9 faction points were payed out so I'm happy. ![]()
The cantina was also very friendly and well decorated so I continued playing after the mission was over.

A neutral owned structure anyone can register in. The issue is only when an imp or rebel places it, only people of that faction can register. Yet one more flaw with the /register system. Though personally I'd rather they give an option to change a structure to neutral, so people that want it factionally aligned can keep it that way.
