Cantina Crawl XVIII

CC18 is happening this saturday the 21st of May at 4pm Eastern (1pm PST, 9pm GMT) .

If you're into the color scheme thing, the scheme this time is GOLD and BLACK! See a friendly tailor on Starsider and have a brand new outfit made.

We'll be crawlin the planet of Tattooine. On STARSIDER. It's our first cross-galaxy crawl!

Please have patience with us at the beginning of the event as usual, it can take some time to get everything in place before we go a-crawlin, especially on a new server. Hope to see you all there!




About The Event : The cantina crawls are a series of events that are open to everyone from every server. We gather in a particular cantina at a particular time, get all dressed up, and then 'crawl' from location to location and party hard. Although most of the people who attend are entertainers, we welcome folks from all walks of life to an evening of music, merriment, flirting, fashion and fun.

When : Saturday, May 21st. Gathering time is 4pm Eastern (1pm Pacific), we move out around 4:30pm. Latecomers are welcome to join wherever we are (use the channel listed below to contact us).

Where : We're crawling Tattoine on the Starsider Galaxy. We'll be meeting at the Dew Drop Inn Cantina in Mesric Sanctuary and moving out from there.

Channel : Once logged into Starsider, type /chatroom join chat.ent. Make sure this channel is visible in your chat window (right click on the tab and select modify). We'll be using this channel to communicate.

Travel Arrangements : If you're joining us from another server and need cash to aid with travel, contact 'Javy' (preferably before the event starts) and I'll take care of it.

What To Wear : No pre-set outfits, just a color scheme that you are welcome to adhere to. Black and Gold. See your local tailor and get a snazzy new outfit made.

Video Production : While I personally will not be filming this event, we may have others who are. If you are interested in cutting a video, by all means film away!

Oh Javy? I believe the proper command now is

/chatroom join chat.ent

or minimally

/chatr join chat.ent

Last I checked /chat join no longer works for joining chat channels.

Also I should be able to make it this Saturday.

Suggestion: Set up a TS Channel!

I'll be there for awhile, but it turns out my tickets to Episode III are on the 21st in the evening, so I can't stay long at all

My Starsider dancer's wardrobe is gold and WHITE. Go figure!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend at all.

Aside from the fact that I have no Starsider Character, I am still trying to download patch_15_01.tre and have been for some time. So far this month, I have not been able to log in at all. Ilet my secondary account run out on April 13th (planning on re-subscribing in early May) and have not bothered resubscribing with it as I cannot get in game with my main account to update the game files. There is a huge thread on this issue in Tech Support, butthe main SOE people have yet to address it publicly. We are left with what help the tech forum guys have been able to give us. Unfortunately, the solutions that they are able to provide have not helped anyin my case.

I've been waiting for this to hit Starsider! Yay! Likewise, if you need some travelling cash or to be picked up from somewhere, I can help out. I hope to tough it out for the haul.

I'm very sorry to hear that.

It's really disappointing because it's on my home server starting in my city's cantina. /cry. I would have offered to make outfits, but my work schedule has been 8am-11pm or later the last 4 days. This is my LAST weekend I have to work *fingers crossed*.
