Thread: Macro for the lazy people!
This macro is only for musicians, because I don't feel like timing out a Dancer, and they use a LOT more space. You can turn this on before you go to bed in some far off corner, but don't be a lamer and expect to get massive amounts. It's the lazy person's macro, not the Loser's macro.
Requirements:
Novice Medic, Novice Entertainer, decent sized mind pool.
What it is, basically, is the ultimate expression of recursion.
Here's the exact code for it...
pause 6;
stopMusic;
pause 10;
/tenddamage;
/pause 7;
/startMusic [Song here];
/pause 8;
/flourish 1;
/pause 8;
/flourish 2;
etc. for all flourishes
/flourish 8;
/pause 5;
/ui toolbarSlotXX; <---- that's the recursion for the macro, where XX is the slot number, from 00 to 23. 00-11 is the top bar, 12-23 is the bottom bar.
The basic idea of this macro is that you play your song and do flourishes, and then use Tend Damage to heal yourself without using Stimpacks. Then, you heal your own wounds when you play the music. So you don't need a medic, and you have no mind wounds, and you get exp. Considering I started Entertainer last night, I think I'm smart enough for using this macro.

why even stop at all ? this way you NEVER stop until you are out of action then your tend heals you every 10 seconds.. so if any nice customers are healing you, you will continue playing.. but if you are all alone and no heals, then when yo urun out of action u aotmatically stop and /tend yourself every 10 seconds and startup again when it gets to the top...

and when your NOT dancing...due to running out of action. the /Tend works and gives No error message.
You forgot to add the /shout command asking for tips in return for your services. That way you can make money and gain exp at the same time.
Err...I think many people will take my previous post seriously.
Don't...please. There are few things more annoying than an AFK entertainer that has a repeating shout command in their macro--especially one that asks for tips.

Devs! please start enforcing the EULA as it applies to macrotainers. Don't nerf the entertainmen profession as an attempt to discourage macrotainers. You'll discourage only the legitimate entertainer players. What you did with Surveyors was bad enough. Just block players who AFK-macro from being able to run macros, and the problem is solved. Punish only the guilty. I know it's a new concept, but please, give it a try.

Tend damage does have a delay factor (wish they had a countdown timer for the heals and such you can get a bit impatient waiting you are ready to heal more wounds or wait for tenddamge to come back) but if you can figure out what that delay is you can /pause long enough to get it to work again after you add in a /stop dance; after that another /startdance <dance here>. Maybe that might help not sure let me know if it works or Ill experiment and let you know.
this thread makes me sick! why dont you frign earn your mastership and maybe you'll b good too cause you'll actually know what the songs sound like and how to make them sound good. Gahd this thread should be deleted it is total bull and you all give us all a bad rep. BAH all i can say is if your on ahazi and you macro afk do not even contact FFWB you will not be admited. y
you know what afk macroing says: that you dont care to be an entertainer SO DONT! if you did you would put on a performance and not do this BS in my mind afk macrotainers is an exploit and should be /report able it sux that you ruin the reputation of all the hardworking entertainers out there.
Get some pride and quite entertainer or quite macrotaining!

Just a quick question (ie im not a true troll as you can see from my post count, but this needs asked) for the last poster that needed to write real big: How do you be a loud entertainer? I mean in really big letters you wrote that you wanted them to be quite!!
