Happy holidays! We hope you'll come celebrate at the first ever Christmas Crawl. This one isn't about statements or politics, it's about good fun, good friends, good drink and celebrating the season.
Outfits...red & green & white. Bring your own if you wish, or wear the pre-made outfits we'll have on hand, your choice. Santa hats will be available as well for those who want them and can wear them.
This crawl is being filmed and cut into a video to be released shortly before Christmas.
Please have patience with us at the beginning of the event as usual, it can take some time to get everything in place before we go a-crawlin. Hope to see you all there!
About The Event : The cantina crawls are a series of events that are open to everyone from every server. We gather in a particular cantina at a particular time, get all dressed up, and then 'crawl' from location to location and party hard. Although most of the people who attend are entertainers, we welcome folks from all walks of life to an evening of music, merriment, flirting, fashion and fun.
When : Sunday, December 19th. Gathering time is 3pm Eastern (12pm Pacific), we move out around 3:30pm. Latecomers are welcome to join wherever we are (use the channel listed below to contact us).
Where : We're crawling Corellia on the Bria Galaxy. We'll be meeting at the Fifth River Cantina in Four Rivers and moving out from there.
Channel : Once logged into Bria, type /chat join chat.ent. Make sure this channel is visible in your chat window (right click on the tab and select modify). We'll be using this channel to communicate.
Travel Arrangements : If you're joining us from another server and need cash to aid with travel, contact 'Javier' (preferably before the event starts) and I'll take care of it.
What To Wear : Red & Green & White! We'll have some pre-made outfits there, including santa hats and some matching gear for those entertainers so inclined, but people are also welcome to bring their own outfits if they prefer.
Staff : Doasa is the producer for this event, so please listen when he talks. He can also answer most of your questions. We will identify choreographers and music directors on the night of the event, these folks will lead the groups. My name is Javier, and I'm responsible for this mess, so if you've got a question that the others cannot answer, bug me.
Video Production : Yes! It's being filmed! Movie to premiere shortly before Christmas!
Any questions, let me know!

That's it, I'm making a character on Bria! I keep seeing all these great videos from previous Crawls, and I want to be part of it so much. Looks like a lot of fun!
I will contact you in-game hopefully in the next night or two, provided I don't suddenly have plans for Sunday (with the holidays and all).
By the way, the video for Cantina Crawl XII was amazing. I've watched it several times, and each time I getthat righteous rage about the situation the entertainer professions are in (alright, I admit it, I cried
). I love that you used that particular song for it, since it really captures the emotions involved. The video is a huge influence on me to work on Dancing. I've tried it before, but lost interest since I'm kinda shy and never knew what to say to people. I'm now trying it again, and am really enjoying it. I support Live Entertainment, and try to let my friends and guildies know why it's so important. It's a tough fight, but I will always stand beside my fellow entertainers.
I look forward to meeting everyone! Lots of love and hugs to all in this wonderful community.

I'll be on vacation starting this Saturday, and while I do plan to bring my laptop,I'm probably going to have to miss the big event. Sounds like it's gonna be great fun.

Noobs are absolutely ok! There are typically way more entertainers than will fit in one group (typically way more dancers then will fit in one group, and quite often more musicians than will fit in one group) so there tends to be a group for masters and a group for lower level (and more groups as neccessary) so that everyone can participate and have a great time
.

I like the noob group too. That's where I'll be, right there in the noob group!
I don't play on Bria, except to Crawl, so I don't have any of the higherdances. That won't keep me away though. So, make sure there's a spot reserved for me with the rest of us noobs! Yay!
