This is just a warning to all Entertainers:

IF YOU HAVE BOTH MUSIC AND DANCE TECH 1 DO NOT DELETE ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Master Musician/Entertainer who was at one point working on being a Dancer. I decided this morning to get rid of the Dancer Tree to work on another skill. I deleted Dance Tech 1 and Novice dancer and GUESS WHAT??!!??

I now am a Master Musician who has NO Spotlight, Colored lights or Dazzle.

SOE thinks so little of our "Elite" professions that they give three of the lights the same **edit** name in the skill trees. My suggestion is if you have both DO NOT delete one of them.

One again proving our profession is a half thought out joke to the Devs.

I have noticed that Dazzle and Distract haven't worked since the big update. I only have the dancer profession and am close to mastering it. I am wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

Whew. Its a minor bug. When i relogged it reset my character and the lights are back where they should be. Still was very scary there for a bit.

Thank goodness it was a minor bug after all.

I relogged and it reset my character and they are back. Still was quite maddening at the time.

Whew it was only a little bug. When i relogged it reset my character and the lights are back. Still was quite upsetting at the time. Wish they were all this easy to fix.

I too would have been mighty peeved. At least the relog fixed it for you.

I'm an MM working on Dancer. I don't have Dancing Techniques I, but I am still able to use spotlight, dazzle, and colorlights (in their first-level form), so it doesn't surprise me that you ran into trouble with these effects when untraining.

I have not been able to see my effects since the patch. I know they still work. People tell me that they can see them, but I cannot.

Does anyone else have this bug? If so, is there anything I can do about it?

No more smokebomb changes for me.... Ah well.

Really? I did not have that problem. I hope it was just a fluke for you.

If it still doesn't work, I'd highly suggest a /bug report. Dazzle and Distract work wonderfully for me.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

Sometimes I can see my smoke bombs but most times not...I cannot report em since I already have a ticket in on my harvs that went missing...Last night when other dancers changed I saw em in 2 sets of clothes was weird to say the least. Relogging seemed to cure it .

Do any of you have to reset icons on your hotbars each and every time ya log in? Not everything on them , mind you, but I have to do the same 3 every blinking time...

As far as seeing my own lights, the only way to see them is to be in third person camera view either left, right or in front of your character. Sometimes you can see them if the camera is pulled far back from behind, but close up behind and in first person you see nothing.
