This just in from Mos Entha Tribune field reporter Johann DeChristiensen:

Tusk Cats, Slicehounds, and Krahbu, OH MY!
From the misty fields of Agrilat Swamp we're hearing reports of a gaggle of Entertaining Witches mixing up their potions and preparing for a massive tribute to the daemons and faeries!
Upon closer investigation we have uncovered these are not your typical witches, they are transforming themselves to look more and more like the beautiful Dancer's and Musicians that you can find in Vreni Island or Naboo's Lake Retreat! The locals say that if you look into their eyes you become paralysed and unable to even accomplish the slightest task!
Local Corellian Omolek Aikoc had this to say about the witches: "I've seen them! in the Late night! Come out of the Shwamp! I've seen them travel in bands of 4 or 5 only to come back with 10 or more! I don't know what they're doing, but it's scaring our herd of gnorts!"
Asrar Osrifip was heard saying, "I seen those witches lookin like those bands o' Gypsies. Them thar folks also run amuck callin themselfs True Entertainers, and I seen em commin from down thar near that Four Rivers Island!"
This reporter has also been talking with local officals ab::::BEGIN TRANSMISSON BREAK::::
You are being invited to join us on OCT 30th for two seperate All Hallow's Eve Blowouts....
First Party is for our overseas friends at 1pm EST and the Second party is later on for our US friends at 8pm EST...if you wanna come to both, please do!

Seriously, I miss all of the Gypsy parties too. (And the Halloween one, but if it was cancelled, you got what was comin' to ya for makin' planson a day I couldn't come! BWAHAHA...sorry)
I think I'm going to have to start throwing mini-chilastra parties for random events like "That NPC Smuggler just told me to get lost!" or "Hawtpants are BACK in style!"
(Think that might be too much partying?)

Take this as official confirmation from a TE Council member. Yes, the event was cancelled. Too many confliting RL schedules among the organizers. Sorry, folks, but SPJ 8 will be here before you know it.
