Gig missions aren't worth it. If you can find one for in the same city, it pays crap. If you find one in another city, even those don't pay more than 200 credits, and with shuttle fare that doesn't cut it. You have to dance for TEN MINUTES non-stop, so if your action pool or stamina (action regen) aren't that hot, you may not even be able to do so. All this is stuff I've been told by other Entertainers on Starsider, I've never had the patience to do it myself. I prefer to do Survey missions, since I've also got Artisan & Survey 4. Those pay decently.

I have received a few dance/play music mission while out in the field. I follow the waypoint to the town/city and dance/play at that waypoint and I have yet completed this type of mission. I have tried it four times now and have had to delete the mission. Has anyone else attempted this type and succeded? Or are these type of missions bugged/broken?

Thanks,

I have done this with success. If you dance or play, whichever the mission is for, for 5 minutes you will get a message that you have a mission success, and you get credits in your bank account

The waypoint will lead you to the entrance of a building.

You must go inside that building, and dance or play your music. It will not work if you are standing at the waypoint, only if you are inside the building.

You must continue to dance or play till you have achieved a certain amount of experience - so flourishes are your friend.

you can get gig missions in theaters, from the noble next to the musician or dancer trainer.

in-town-missions give same cash as planetary missions, so it's good to abort missions till you get in-town ones

Does anyone know how to get entertainer missions, or if they even exist? I herd about them somewhere, but can't find where to get them. Any help would really be appreciated!

The pay is really poo for the missions but it's fun if you want to tour around a bit.

Go to the larger of the guild halls. The ones with stages in them. Usually you will find a dancer trainer or a musician trainer and they will be talking to a noble. Talk to the noble and receive an entertainer mission. You will be given a waypoint to a certain stage/hotel. Either walk to the waypoint or take a shuttle. Walk into the building you are supposed to be performing in and start dancing or playing music. Play for about 5 minutes straight and do not stop. You can flourish or not, it's up to you. After 5 minutes, you will get a message saying your mission has been completed.

Most missions give between 400-600 credits.

I've attempted a couple of 'gig' missions now, from both terminals, and once one given by an NPC -- I get a waypoint to where I'm supposed to go perform, the last mission given from the NPC said 'they'd send the people to watch me'. Well, I danced for a long time right in the waypoint marker, and also inside the cantina (where the waypoint marker was in front of), and nothing ever happened. Same for other missions of this type.

Are they just bugged? Am I doing something wrong?

I heard to complete the entertainer mission where the WP is in front of a bar/cantina, you have to go inside to the stage area, and dance/play for 5 minutes nonstop with flourishes(not sure about flourishes) I have yet to try this but heard it worked.

if you try this, could you send me a PM with the results?

Dance missions are a pain in the posterior. What you have to do is go into the building where the way point is in front of. I don't think it matters where inside but often you will find NPCs who enjoy watching (they cheer and clap at you) so I usually dance for them. But sometimes I need to do three full action bars worth of dancing. When I have to play they only last around 5 mins but dancing ones just go on and on for me. They migh be bugged or there might be some "trick" that I am not aware of.
