Right now my 2 toons are afk playing music. ( ooo I know, the so hated AFK) well I am one whenI HAVE to be. I had a good service and I cared for my "customers" Ididnt want to limit my "hours of operation" to the few hours Iwas available to "man" the keyboard. soI left them there all the time. My customers didnt mind and none of the other Ent's seemed to care since I was actually ATK more than they were.
Even when I was ATKI used a looping macro.I would rather sit and chat then worry about hitting the next "flourish" so I don't agree that taking out the ability to loop a macro is the answer. It is yet another way to "hose" the entertainment prof. It is a choice. Customers will choose. If they will go without a service when all the Ents are AFK or if they will be thankful that someone cared enough to leave their toon running while real life took them away to do other things.
I peeked in a few cantinas over tha last few days just too see if there were more ATK ents than i thought cuz after reading the forumI was depressed to think that AFK was such a BAD word, well you know what ? lol ATK is the minority NOT the majority. The reason i figure that there are more threads about being ATK than defending the AFK is quite possible the time factor. AFK have other RL demands that take their time and want to "play" during their "computer" time as my kids would call it. So they are not posting on forums. I am not anti ATK or anti AFK I am both and proud of it.
So I ask this are there any other "closet" AFKers hiding in the forum afraid to admit it? Part timers...? full timers...?
If any of my former customers read this ... Thank you it was an AWESOME last few months. I will miss serving you.
Tava will still be available in Paradise Cove, Naboo ( take a shuttle from theed or where ever) Marrie has all but retired had to drop down to novice music tonight the rest will go as needed to be able to survive in the wild galaxies of SWG.

Cookies, people. Cookies. If this turns into a flamewar, we're going to have to resort to finding Xyrdre's bat...I know I've seen it around somewhere.

I know AFk is a bad word, but I for one am glad that therewere AFK entertainers. I play the late hours due to work and my kids, so it is very hard to find entertainers for buffs. I don't know what the profession is like after the CURB as I just came back from a 2 month break, but I greatly appreciated and needed the AFK entertainers when I would play. It was hard enough to find doc's buffing, and entertainers were even more scarce. ATK entertainers would be great if there were people up and doing it at all hours but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Logging in at 11pm pacific time, I found my shard mostly deserted and if it weren't for the AFK bufbot doc's and entertainers, people like me wouldn't have been able to play and enjoy the game. Kudos to the AFK entertainers!! I appreciate the ATK entertainers as well, don't get me wrong, but the AFK's are needed as well.

I have a secret recipe for eggless chocolate chip/toffee/butterscotch cookies.
The eggless part makes them last forever.
The rest of it makes them last no time at all.
And for the record, the difference between AFK and ATK is that AFK has an F and ATK has a T. I didn't know if people knew that or not.

NO WAY! I had NO idea they were different because of an F and a T. That just totally blows my mind

*searches thru the Holo Manual to see where does it states all live entertainers must be in bed at 8pm sharp*
hmmm I don't know I sure didn't get the memo, did you guys?
Anyways, talking to zombies and zombie-lovers is like talking to the brick wall.
*shrugs*
Someone please pass the ice-cream, I don't want cookies
I'm thinking of buying another account and making it zombie-looter, I mean seriously, I do have RL obligations and truly can't spendmy play-time trying to get loot
I'm sure you all understand, plus it's my $15 a month so it is all about me, isn't it? The idea of missing out on all the loot while I'm doing RL things just drives me crazy,it's so unfair.
*dramatic sight*

I actually never used an Entertainer buff, and I participated in literally every neutral/rebel piece of content available. If they were so necessary, why is it that so many players never used them and never missed them?

Please use the all purpose afk/atk/buffbot thread for these issues.
