You were using the wrong instrument is the problem.
The trick is you have to get them under a balcony. Then get your band mates to push a nalargon off the balcony onto him. Does a lot more damage than a slitherhorn. Just be sure to stand back at the right moment.
Failing that, a bandfill makes a very satisfying thunk when it hits a skull. I wouldn't recommend using a mandoviol unless you wanted to get a new one anyway. If that's the case, I'm told lighting it on fire and smashing it on the stage can be a bit of a crowd pleaser, might try that instead.

Sad but true, Entertainer is just too gimped to be effective PvP. You need Master Musician and then you can craft yourself some good Nalagron Battle Armor (encumbrance is a pain but the defense is pretty good all things considered). Before that though, forget it.

I just have to step in and say that you guys are great! i really miss the days of being able to step into a cantina and joking with the entertainers who were actually there.

All you really need to take out Mr. Full Armor there is Dancing IV in the entertainer profession. Here is the command to use:
/startDance Formal
It is vital (if you want to win the fight) that you do not flourish at all!
Now, when he sees you walking back and forth, twitching, with your arms propped like they're in traction, he'll be laughing so hard that either he'll a.) not be able to breathe, and will asphyxiate, or b.) You'll have all day to womp on his head with your slitherhorn at 6 pts. of damage per hit. Either way, you will "pwn the n00b".
This has been brought to you by the commission to restore elegant dance. Please fix both Formals and Lyricals. Thank you.

ok so i take what some of ya'll said and i practiced on my musician skillz until my fingers were but crumpled, withered and bleeding stubs. i also danced to eye of the tiger on repeat until my head crashed into the keyboard.. after all my hard training i finally made it, ent. 0/2/3/0 i was so proud. so the teras kasi came back and he was telling me what a n00b i was the other day and that he'd beat me agian, but i spared him the shame and insult of defeat for now.. any other strats would be ppreciated thnx

I used to find it amusing to Dance with a scythe, and when people assumed I was just using it as a prop because it looked cool, pop my Master Swordsman tag over my head for a moment, then put it back to Master Musician. 'Course...now I can't dance.
Gave it up for good ol' Warcry2/Intimidate2/Lunge2. But I sometimes play the narlagon while I'm overt, just to prove that Master Musician over my head isn't a bugged tag. Wait for someone to attack me, thinking I'm some easy mark...then whip out my big, nasty hammer and pound their brain to goo. That's fun...well, when I win anyway.

Mmmm . . . I've always found that flourish 2 in Exotic 4 works well indisabling an opponent (well a male one, anyway). . .

Ub-ick hopes Roho IS looking! DRAMA!! ![]()
I found that a small green Twi'lek dancing exotic and has full use of her lekku completely knocks the offender into a week long coma. (I heard this from a friend of mine, I swear! :smileysurprised![]()

Lei, Roho is always looking when I do that flourish - it's his favorite!

Before they took out the PvP Battlegrounds, I once equipped my Mandoviol and charged out of the fort at about 20 peoplescreaming "El Kabong!"
I died.
