OH man, what a day. All I wanted was to heal my LE droid so that we could go back out and fight. You see, it was at 74/100 Vitality, and was getting pretty weak.
I consulted many Master DE's on Shadowfire and nobody..Nobody could tell me how to heal a droids Vitality. The CSR's couldn't tell me how to heal a droids vitality..I thought all was lost.
But it dawned on me...Bio-engineers can create Pet Vitality packs...and Droids are pets! So after tracking down an aspiring droid engineer, and having him deal with me trying to get him to heal my droid up..I found a bio-engineer, and got a Pet Vitality pack.
So here's how I did it. It requires trust...I haven't done it any other way, so try it yourself first.
1: Acquire a Pet Vitality pack.
2: Open up your datapad and left click on the droid..
3: Use Restore Vitality (can't remember specific name...option 4 I think.) This only works in the datapad.
Presto! My droid was re-vitalized to 95/95, which means full HAM! Yum!
Now if you can't do this as a non-DE, then just find a trustworthy DE, transfer your droid and Pet Vitality pack to him/her and they can do the work!
It's EASY!

yep, pet vitality packs have always healed droid vitality... don't ask my why, they just do. Anyone can use them, DE or non DE.

because it says "Pet vitality pack". Whenever someone wants me to fix their droid's vitality, I tell them to find a BE pet vitality pack. Simple as that.

you are missing something. he's not talking about healing the droid's wounds. he's talking about restoring the droid's vitality. a pet (creature or droid) with low vitality has its max ham reduced. The only way to fix that is to use a vitality back to restore the pet's vitality.

Because the number of people that need to restore vitality of a droid is very limited.
Most of the people don't know what droid can do, so expecting them to know such tricky stuff is the path to disapointment.

maybe im missing somethng here,but why didnt de just tell you to or offer to use a droid recon kit.

but dosnt using vitiliaty kit also effect the pet/droid in some way.

It's so very very rare that a Droid vitality ever gets low enough to actually need it, that it never comes up. I have had 1 person ask me about it, his droid was at like 80/100. I have a crate of them sitting around just for that.

but dosnt using vitiliaty kit also effect the pet/droid in some way.
yes it does just like it does for all pets it reduces the pets Max vitality based on how low it is when the pack is used, that way pets don't live forever but still a VERY long time.
BTW pets take Vitality hits each time it goes incap.

i believe it never completely restores the pet/droid all the way back to 100 vitality, but to my knowledge that is the only thing it does to the pet that makes the pet/droid anything less than what it was when it was first created.

that was what I was saying it restores it to 100% but not to 100 points exsampe not real numbers 75/100 turns to 95/95 with the use of a Vitality Pack
