Thread: What can I accomplish with only Novice Droid Engineering?

IU asked this a few days ago and al lthe answers were "not much" but I really want to know the specifics! Could i manage to make even an MSE droid? And if I can what could I add on to it/make it do?

u can make an mse with 1 item storage, 10 data storage, or medical module 1. thats it. once u get intermediate blueprints 1, u can make a mse with 2 item storage, 20 data storage, or 2 lvl 1 medical modules. or u can make an R5 with the same things as an mse droid.

you can build mouse droids but only with 1 module.
The aviable mods would be
Playback, Avian, Foam (entertainer) (should work , no quality neccesary)
Data, Item storage and med modules lvl 1 (everybody) (merely useless, only data would be "adequate" with maybe 10 places)
harvest mod (scout) (absolutly useless, because you cant even experiment)
You could produce Droid cusomisation kits, but with very limited uses, as no experimentation...

Medical:
Highest medical rating is 110. Medical ability allows you to heal wounds outside of a med-centre or camp, but not in a cantina or hotel. A rating of 100 is the same as healing in a med-centre.
Do note that 110 is the MAX Medical Rating. At novice DE, you would not be able to get it that high.

110 medical is lv6 medic unit, or two lv4 units. cant see my skill tree here, but look up to see where lv4 items are and you could basicly make adv mse with 2 lv4 med units without being to high up skill tree.

You can also seek out other DE's who are willing to build schematics for you if you have a factory. I've found some very generous DE's and MDE's who are more than willing to help me make modules that I don't have the skills for yet. This includes Combat, Crafting and other important modules. This has really helped fund my growing business as I slowly make it through the DE skill tree. I'm not actively grinding the tree anymore (after grinding the two Blueprint boxes), just going by ones that I assemble for sale or for use, (with the occasional 10-20 minute Advanced Droid Frame Unit grind if things are really quiet)
So maybe seek out a MDE or two on your server and see if they'd be willing to lend a hand to an up-and-comer.
