Thread: If Droid Engineers made player vehicles...
1. No matter what chassis you used, they would all go the same speed.
2. Said speed would not allow you to escape from an angry mob of non-CH players on creature mounts.
3. Among the useful optional components would be a cup holder and a data disc player that can only play half a song at a time.
4. Via a seating exploit, you could take 100 of your friends anywhere they wanted to go.
I could go on, but I'll leave the rest up to the rest of you. Come on all youDE's out there, since we can't do anything else right now, show me what your imagination can do!
5. Your vehicle is a speeder which floats a good foot and a half above the ground, but the tiniest pebble will cause it to slam to a halt,hurling youout of the vehicle because seatbelts are bugged.

6.They would all be shiny red until you actually use them, at which point they all turn primer-colored because the paint slides off.

7) due to a module exploit you could pack more armor into it than an ATAT and more firepower than a Deathstar. (assuming its not stuck in your datapad)
8) You will be able to go 15 m before u need to get out and put in a battery.
11.) The Vehicle Dev would be busy fixing Creature Mounts.

12.) If droid engineers made player vehicles...they would be the most amazing looking vehicles ie landspeeders,millenium falconish but bugged not to actually go any faster than walking....the bug would be finally fixed only to create a new bug making it impossible for DE's to ride in them!
13. Armor could go as high as Heavy, while hitting a Durni would flipthe vehicle, causing massive damage to both player and vehicle. Durni would walk away with barely a scratch.
14. Weapon mods could be added, but would require high level combat skills to wield them. None of which the DE could use because he's out of skill points.
15. Sensor mods would be implimented, but would only sense other players and non-attackable NPC's (much like a useless version of the current info available now).
16. Any and all pets would still be more useful than any vehicle we could make.
