I have been away for about four months and when I came back was elated to find that they added the ability for DE's to make droids that could use stim packs finally I would be able to fully explore profesions I want to use instead of having about 20 points in medic just to keep myself alive but low and behold I purchase one of the droids and can't load stims into it so after days of searching for a DE I find one who informs me that only a medic or doc can load em and I find one well to make a long story short after a good half an hour of trying the droid says you can only load stim A's which was what we were attempting to load this particular droid won't take a name either so I suggested maybe it was just a broken droid but sure enough we try with his droid and get the same message what gives are these things broken and if so why are so many people making and selling things that just don't work I've been at this for days and anxious to drop these medic skills any info would be very greatly appreciated thanks all

the player who loads the droid needs to have pharmacology 4. did the medic who was helping you have that? you didn't say.

Hmmm just read that not sure but he was a master doctor so I would have thought he had to have it. But I will make sure next time I try it the doctor has Pharm 4 I'm practically qualified for master ranger but can't train since I'm out of skill points thanks for the info

If they are broken, then it will be news to us.
The person loading the droid must own it and have Pharm IV.
That mean you must give him the droid via trade or transfer.
As and added note: Too bad that they cant be loaded with Stim B's. Those would sell much better than these.

Now that would be making droids actually useful, and we can't have that.

If you get an R3 with 6 modules nearly fully experimented on delivery, you can get it to fire modules more frequently than once per second (at least I have before). With a macro, this can keep you alive for quite a while.

The Stimpack Dispensor Module is one of the few droid modules that a 12 point DE comes in handy. The way to get the best Stimbot is to max out two seperate module schematics - 1 for delivery and 1 for storage. You must get at least 1 Amazing success on each module, so that you can max out experimentation on one lineand have at least 3 pionts to spare on the second line. If you stack 3 of each module onto an R3, you will have the hignest number of stims and the highest dispensor rate possible in one droid.

Drashk, perhaps your numbers varied from mine, but I did try what you said.
I spent a lot of time messing around, I'm a 12 point DE as well.
I did what you said, maxing out one line on half of the modules, then the other line on the other half, making sure I got amazings.
Yet I ended up with "slightly" better numbers on the overall droid by splitting my points evenly between both lines. It helps if you get 2 amazings. I have a new batch now that is 320 stims with a delivery rating in the high 50's.
I'll try your way again, to make sure though.

Are they normal stim A's? There is some advanced stim A that comes from a quest that won't work.
I wonder what everyone produces on these. I have 512 Capacity/33 Delivery ones that heal once a second out of combat. I be interested to know how they compare.

heres a quick macro for the stim droid. its the one i use.
Macro name: Heal
/requestStim;
/pause .5;
/macro Heal;
Adjust the pause to what ever suits you. Also you can use it while attacking if you hit specials then target your stim droid. As long as the stim droid is targeted in combat you can get a stim. So i kind of flip back and forth, by unclicking.
:-( I really wish we could store crates of batteries in the droids for them to use as needed.... It would make my droids way more useful!

Does anyone know the minimum delivery time to have a droid pop a stim every second?
I usually do combat, bomb,medical and storage droids.
I tend to shy away from these fluff pieces, though I did make a trial R3 490/18 (I think) stimbot.
