I have searched the boards for info on this, however i could not find it.... I recall a long time ago seeing something, yet here is my question..... I made my first R3, harvester droid, and colored it a certain color. However once the droid was set to datapad and called out it was a horrid red color with bright purple trim. What went wrong? This was most definintly not the color scheme I chose during creation.

Your first post? Here?
.....welcome, indeed.

There are 2 stages of coloring droids (most, anyway). The chassis stage, for those droids that have chassis like the R3 Adv, and the final deed.
The chassis color is important when making 'furnishings' or other such non-functional droid deeds.
The final deed chassis should stick and lasts for 20 calls. Beyond that, you'll want to use a Droid 'paint' tool on it to get the color you're after (note: at MDE you'll have 64 color choices). That paint job lasts for 50 calls. So, you're likely better off to repaint it right out of the gate...unless you get the color you want when you build the deed.
I've not heard of bugs on coloring droid deeds but if you're certain the color(s) you picked on the final deed build were not what it gave you, you should /bug it.
If you just wanna move past it...paint the droid anew.
Lemme know if this doesn't help...

thank you so much for the speedy reply and great info TK... I shall /bug it as that was definintly not the color i chose for the final model or the adv chassis.... I shall paint it as quickly as I can, as it does stand out.
