I think the most of them are really good, but it will take some time before we get fixed.
There is a topic running where new idea's for modules and droid types can be posted. Our correspondent (Sintrosi) will give these to our DE developer.

Ok for the record I am not a DE and really... I'm sorry...

My main thing is factions and for you that are in that can see I can relate to your problems. Ok anyways, I am not sure what's being suggested but would like to see:

- Power recharge at least 24 hours (I don't recall C-3PO needing power every 15 min. and R2 only once on Dagobah)

- Protocol Droid actually translate for you (Should be able to learn a maximum of say 3 languages!)

- Repair droids! (Not only for AT ST's but for all future vehicles & ships - Like the one we saw on Han's Falcon on Hoth)

- Offer items such as override/hacking, yes I know smugglers can do it but well... look at R2 that hacker!

- Medical droids that can actually heal wounds? (Yes we have medics & doctors but you don't see them much after they mastered do you? Can make them very expensive and slower? I want my robotic arm!)

- Probot droids (Turn them into actual Imperial Probe droids, able to be sent out on planets for factions seeking HQ's & such, how fun would that be???)

- Even make available cargo lifter droids, where you can assign routes such as resource gathering from harvesters (Cannot give cash or power but can collect/haul anything!)

Again I'm sure some of these ideas if not all have already been suggested but I think these changes alone would actually be a good start... in any which case I hope you guys get some real "fixes" and not some over night quick fix that ends up doing more harm then good.

Just out of curiosity, what profession are you? There are a lot of people we could upset if we give functionality of a profession to a droid.

Right now I'm a medic / pistoleer. Yes I can see that droids given the ability of players but isn't that what combat droids are doing? You can never replace NPC to what a player can do especially on the battle field. I currently have a medic stormtrooper medic, he heals quite randomly when in combat so a droid doing that shouldn't change anything, but also have it available to tend to wounds in special conditions? Wouldn't medics be a little happier as these things would help out, but your always going to make someone angry/upset. I just feel droids are SEVERELY being restricted of their full potential because the Devs are treading lightly not to hurt the feeling of certain professions & such.

I am just giving suggestions from a customer's view, I can assure you if some of these suggestions actually came in I would be making some DE's very busy and very rich. Currenly the only thing I have to buy are weapons, buff drugs are given to me and the rest in armor & support I use faction.. it's all I do basically.

Oh on a side note I have an age old pre-nerfed pro-bot, and as such I am unable to have it repaired! Also the having to recharge them every 15 minutes makes it quite useless... even every hour was bad enough to keep it stored. Is these things just my bot or universal?
