I want to buy one but have a few questions. What is the max CL a probot can be and what is the max damage one can do?

dependingif your template has medic in it i would sugest 1 combat module, one level 6 armor, 1 level 6 medic module, and 3 autoheals. This would provide a max CL 30 droid that does ranged attacks, it will also boost your medic heal by 150% (if im not mistaken). the auto heals are for insurance, as droids currently can be healed with bacta "spells", if the devs ever fix it your droid will still have healing ability just remember to turn it on. 
if you do not have medic drop the level 6 medic module and put in a autoheal for additional droid healing, and pick up some droid stims a good one will about heal your droid to almost full health.

Combat probots with a 5 auto repair has about 3200 HAM with1 combat module and does about 1pt damage. More info is posted above about combat droids if you need any more information.

The max any droid can be is CL-30. And the droid's health is entirely dependent on it's CL, at CL-30 I believe the health will be 3742 (I'm at work now and can't check). I also believe that all droids do damage based solely on their CL now, so that different droid types will all do the same damage if they are the same CL.

Max Health any combat droids can have is 3742, and the damage range is around 68-284.
