Thread: Non-driodsmith has a Question on 1 type of driod
* They are limited on a number of charges per droid
* They survey a class of resources on a given planet, but do NOT tell you the stats
* Each time you use a charge, it consumes a survey tool, which must be in your inventory.

Yup, tells you what's on a planet, but not where to find it.
Then there's the really expensive option - put down a harvey, check what's available at that site, if you don't like it, pick it up and move to a new spot!!
i'm a newb armoursmith and i've just heard about these droids.
How much (roughly) do these droids go for ?
am i understanding correctly, the droids do NOT get used (as in destroyed) each use....but a survey tool does. Is that per planet ? or do they survey every planet ?
Anyone on Ahazi stock these ? a waypoint and price appreciated.

1. The droids DO get used/destroyed.
2. The survey tool used gets destroyed.
3. Each survey takes between 25 and 40 minutes and then you need to visit each planet to see where the best strain is so if you are an artisan you might findvisiting each planet faster than using the droids. A non artisan may find them more useful though.

In it's defense (?), if you use an ISD to do it, you have the records in your e-mail (a soft copy) in case you want to reference them at a later date. But they're not exactly invaluable tools...
