I know this may be a dumb question, but I just can't figure it out.

depends on what you programmed in on the radial, however I don't think it works, but honestly, I never tried since afterI made my first MSE...

I can't get BeFriend to work. I think it could be a neat function if we had some good combat droids, (I could see myself loaning one out), but have never been able to get anyone else to control my droid. This bug should be on Goranthoth's list, but I haven't checked if it is.

Can you imagine? A Droid Rental Agency? hehe... For500 credits, you can borrow this droideka for 2 hours.

Yeah, it can be taught, but it does nothing, either for droids or for pets.

However, I did see a patch note somewhere indicating that the 'befriend' command was being fixed for pets (perhaps it's on TC now?), and that sort of thing may spill over to droids as well, since they ARE essentially considered pets.

It has been fixed. I've tested and used it a few times. I programmed the befriend command to "friend". Just target someone and type "friend". Two examples come to mind. One a guildmate was using my crafting droid to craft. I told Squirt(my droid) she was a friend and she was able to tell it to follow her. I went off doing something else and when she was done she told Squirt to "pack it" and he stored himself in my datapad.

Second example...I was helping a friend with part 2 of Alderan. Two of them had probots and I had them befriend them to me. I controlled theirs plus mine during combat. Worked pretty well even though for some reason they wouldn't recognize my macros. Only when I typed it. Hmm, I think I just realized the problem. I was using /tellpet so I didn't spam much. But I'm betting that /tellpet only sends the command to my pets...no any befriended ones. Still it worked pretty well and it was pretty cool having an army of 3 probots swirling around me.

Is this on the TC?
