I had all but given up hope on my beloved droids. I've been moping, and brooding, and thinking over whether I should give up my hard earned DE skills along with the artisan that went along with it. But then, something happened:

Player in a tell: Hey, remember me? It's been a long time. Are you still a DE like I remeber?

Me: Sure am, for now. Did you want something?

Player: Yeah...can you make the BH Arakyds? And do you have the waypoint for your store?

Me: I do make them, but there aren't any on my vendor right now. If you tell me how many you need, I can make them up for you.

Player: Can you do 50? In crates?

Me (after about 5 minutes of deep calming breaths): I'll have to set up my factory again, I think I can get them to you by tomorrow.

Player: Awesome...how much will it be?

Me: 75k I believe. Is that OK?

Player: Sounds great. Can you mail me the waypoint now, I want to check it out.

Me: Sure. I'll also mail you when it's ready to be picked up.

Player: Can't wait. See ya!

After that experience, as well as knowing a few more BH with that kind of need and cash...I believe I'm staying for a while. And on top of that, once I heard that our changes should be coming around Jan/Feb, I figured I could master by then and finally love myself once again.

I hope others have had this kind of experience. It felt great.

Bounty hunter droid sales have been fair to good since I gained the ability to make them, months ago. Recently, with the fixes to the Bounty Hunter investigation line, sales have been VERY good.

There's one particular BH who ordered 50 seekers and 50 probes from me, and it was only a couple or three weeks later that he needed 50 more seekers! Others are quite regular customers whose names appear again and again in my vendor sales emails.

I rarely let my factories sit idle, I can't afford to...

I was doing a factory run of EMMs and GPs this weekend so I could make a bunch of Seekers and Probes. I wasn't going to make crates of them I need the xp. Thats when I get a /tell of some Mayor looking for a Protocol Chasis as I was looking for my Ditanium Steel I got another /tell from another person looking for a Protocol Chasis. Life is getting better.

R2s are also selling well for me, in particular my crafting/storage R2 units, which I'm pretty sure folks are buying for the decay-free storage capacity.

eh? decay free storage capacity? i'll buy 10!!!

ok i'm just a troll master bh, but since i am a bh droids do concern me so i'd like to read about the professoin + problems this class has. but now that i know i can store all my gear in these droids ill definately shell out a couple hundred thousand for a bunch of these (yes us bounty hunters are rich).

You all should be on Starsider. I can't keep a droid on my vendor longer than 4 days. I make every kind of advanced droid possible & they sell. I sold 4 power droids last week. I sold 20 crates of seekers in 5 minutes! I just need to charge more so I make a better profit.
