Hello,
I'm a weaponsmith and recently bought a droid for making weapons on the go. I've noticed I get a higher failure rate with the droid than i do with a 40 functionality crafting station. Is it just me or are droids less successful?
Thanks for your input.

If only we knew...
Some people report better success with droids, some report worse, and sometimes this is in spite of controlled production by the DE trying to get similar functionality ratings.
The simple fact is, the rating assigned to the droid module when created is of unknown importance, and we have *no* other visible way of telling the quality of what we've created.

Can you experiment on the module in the same way people can experiment on crafting stations?
I've read on the weaponsmith list that a lot of people get the same or better results with the droid, which is why I asked here. I'm confused ![]()

Yes, we can (and most of us do) experiment on them, but we just don't know what effect that experimentation has. The number that is assigned is a generic module quality number, which is also assigned to all other module types we make, crafting or not. The range on this number is far from reaching up into the 40s, as is possible with crafting stations, but what the equivalence factor is, if any, is unknown.
