I head a rumor that the storage cap. of the Binary load lifters was something like 150 items. any truth to that?

No, the advanced model has 0 service slots as well (unless they recently changed that).

The difference in models is that the advanced model has 4 armor slots to the base models 2. Of course since 2 level 4 modules cap out armor at max value, that doesn't really do a whole lot.

I need to correct that. Just went in game and looked at the schematics.

Advanced Binary Load Lifters have 3 armor slots. Regular models have 1.

That just compounds the idiocy though, doesn't it? I mean, first of all, the BLL is one of the most difficult and resource intensive products we build, thanks to the multiple factory items required. But not only do they have no functional slots, but the key differentiator between the basic and the advanced model is in the number of armor slots... Yet if one is capable of making a BLL, one has VERY little need for three, or even two armor slots if one wishes to have a well-protected droid.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

Yes and no. As an MDE I have the skill required to make an Armor-5 defensive module, but that requires Composite Armor PLates that I have to buy from someone else. Stacking 2 Armor-4 defensive modules is a much better choice for me.

That said, three armor slots seems a bit excessive.

The standard BLL has ZERO service slots - thats 00.

The Adv model has ONE service slot. Not much good for nothin.

You used to be able to stack item and data storage modules and get some reasonable storage out of them, but they capped both at 10 now.

Pretty useless even if you wanted to keepprofessional Draft Schematics, or haul resources around in a crafting droid.

BLL chassis'make nice house decorations, and the droids themselves are excellent attention grabbers so make good advertising billboards.

That's it.....
