Thread: Medical Droid Nerf?
A customer came to me and said that her surgical droid wasn't working. I checked it with my novice medical skills and confirmed that it wasn't working. I had her recharge the droid. Afterwards I still could not get it to help me with my medical skills, but she said it was working fine, though I couldn't get the medical module to work. She said that the devs had made it so that the medical droids only work for their owners now.
I think this is a nerf, if true..
Can anyone confirm this, or prove it wrong? Can we no longer use the medical modules in droids unless we own the droid?
I think I've read something about this lately... something about crafting droids that can only be used by their owners... maybe the same applies for the rest of the modules...

It's confirmed that med modules only work for the owners. It is also confirmed that this happened a while back (in last major patch, I believe, as mentioned above).
Crafting stations are still a free-for-all, though. Anyway, look on this as a good thing. means we need to sell more med-module enabled droids.
Sorry, what do you mean by 'neither worked', 'exact components', and 'had no problems'?
Do you mean with certain components you were able to get it so that people other than the owner could use the medical module?
Clarification:
I got two orders for medical droids.I was doing it the long way by hand so I made three sets of components for the droids instead of two, just incase of failures. The first two medical droids went to the two customers and neither worked. I went ahead and did the combines for the third, pulled it and had no problems with the medical module...
