I was just wondering doI need to master artisan in order to really master droid engineer? I see parts that look like there are used for droids but not 100% sure. Thanks in advance for help

despite what they will all tell you you can get along just fine without master artisan. Worst comes to worse, if you don't have someone you can depend on, as long as you've got factories all you have to do is go to bestine/AH/theed/coronet, shout out that you'll give a master artisan 5k for 2 minutes of their time, and have them make you the schematics. I have had to do this a few times over break while my supply lines have been a little off and its gotten me the schematics in 5 minutes or less every time. I'd say the skill points you save are well worth the 5k every week or so you spend on the schematics.

This question has only been asked about a bazeeeeeeelllion times. Do you need it? No, but if you don't take MA you will regret it. If you have decent sales on droids, you will use tons of GP modules and Mem Modules which are madewith the Artisan line. If you wat to make probots on demand, the Micro Sensor Circuits are made by.... guess who? You need an advanced Motive system to make all your more advanced droids? Guess what? They need need a Control Unit....guess who makes those????

So, yes you need it unless you have a friend or a second account that devotes all their time to making stuff for you. Not too many of us have that option.
