Should you be able to stack say 6 level 6 Item Storage modules in a R-3 Adv and have a droid that holds 60 items? I tried it cause I thought it would work, and when I tamed the deed to test it I got a R-3 that can only hold 10 items.

Is this right? Or is this a bug?

Modules do indeed stack. For example two Lvl4 Item Storage modules placed in a droid would result in 10 items. However the maximum limit on droid item storage is throttled at 10 items.

Data Storage Modules are also capped.

I thought it was 10, but someone said 150.

Which begs the question, since you can't store pets or waypoints, when was the last time you had 150 schematics you needed to store......

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."
