Droid Engineer Archive

has anyone encounterd this and maybe able to tell me how to avoid this happening again or tell me who and how to talk to someone to get something done.

i poped my first holo to get droid eng ..ive never had anything against the DE profession but have had no desire to do it either..crafting isnt my idea of fun ..but anyway i started going at it ..got about 50k exp and went to train in my first box of blue print ranks as suggested here....the trainer said i had nothing to learn at this time ...well my box was green the bar on the on line exp meter was green and i had ogtten the message a while before that i was now qualified for it .....BUT he wouldnt train me ...so i relogged hopeing it would register to him then ..well BAM all my exp was gone i was back from 52k to about 11k ....done the ticket thing got "im sorry but we cant return lost exp"

i figured oh well that bites but must have been a fluke...so here it is the next day and hours and hours of grinding later im now on my third rank of blueprints and second rank of droid production..so after getting up 92 k of exp i was going to train in my 3rd rank of droid (82k i think )production ..BOOM again he says i have nothing to learn ( mind you i still have the entire lines of the other 2 with the 48k boxes at the bottom i should be able to train as well )...well i thought screw this im gonna try a player trainer first before i end up logging ...well players couldnt train me either ..and then after relogging BAM its all gone again .. 140+k exp shot right up the rear in a profession i didnt want or like in the first place..

Please any ideas here i sent in another comment on the original ticket but i dont expect anything to be done....anyone know of any way to get to someone that might look into this im doomed at this rate im either gonna be broke from loseing all my resources or just quite the game all together long before i even finish DE let alone tried jedi ..SOE this is not "FUN" by any streatch of the word....fix me !

I heard of one other fellow experiencing this bug. Unfortunately, this is the price you must pay to unlock your FS slot. It's not meant to be fun but to be a deterent to EVERYONE having a jedi. It sux and you got robbed. If you want a jedi, though, you'll have to eat the pain and drive on. My sympathies.

you must really want to be jedi badly. my first holo also said droid engineer. i got as far as engineering 4. crafting just is not fun if its not what you wanted to do.
