At last i did it - thanks to a RL friend who makes money from selling resourcessupplying me with the necessary steel i grinded from 1-2-0-4 to Master in just over a week!

Now i just gotta pay off my 268k cr debt and then i can start making some moola!

COngratulations! I will be joining you soon I hope. CanI ask for advice though pls. Are you master artisan too? My character was created as an artisan from the beginning to be a DE but I put it off because DE's werent looking so well there for a while. anyways with upcomming publishes it is looking better. I have alot of skill points alotted to combat scouting and medic. And just enough to finish the engineering tree and master DE? Does it make a difference if you master DE without being master arti or do you get an advantage being a master arti?

You need to find someone who can produce the parts for you, OR get a factory and find someone to produce manufacturing schematics - then just crank them in the factory.

I did/will (again)master Artisan since I had problems finding reliable suppliers.

But I had to drop alot of other skills to Novice, or do without them to get there.

Congrats on making master DE!

I really wanted to follow the path but got side tracked with master politican! First Novice DE on the server but I ended up surrending all my skills except 0,0,0,4 so I'm more than happy to pay over the price for high end componets/modules/armor! If you wanna make some phat cash back! I'm trying to supply droids to my people and milita so would love to work with you and am happy to buy as many componets you can make!

I originally took the shortest route to NDE but by the time i had started work on produceing droidsi realised i needed items only a master artisan could produce- since most of my income now comes from seekers and arakyds i would recommend getting marster artisan to anyone.

i also found that opening my shop gave me a great insentive to spend more points on merchant (currently 4-3-0-1) which has taken even more of my points i currently have 1 skill point left and am only a novice pistoleer (my alternate profession of choice) - i am currently mass producing GP Modules, Memory Modules andControl Units. once i feel i have enough to last me (probably 10k) i will drop Master artisan to release some points.
