I made Master Droid Engineer finally! Not due to some small little blue glowy thing, but due instead to an overwhelming sense of masochism, mixed with a small, quizzical sense of hope that maybe someday we'll be able to make great items.

Can't complain about the DE items too much, I've made pretty decent money, and after pointing out that my Probot with max armor withstood 2 Rancors for nearly 2 minutes by itself without ANY player intervention while I was healing (love it when the Guard command works) and still had HAM left when the Rancor's fell, I got an instant 3 orders for it. (And no, it's not a pre-nerf, but one I made a couple weeks ago.)

I salute all my fellow Masters who have done by choice, and humbly place myself in your ranks.

What's most interesting is when even YOU cannot tell whether you are laughing, crying, or simply hysterical.

Heh, I see I'm not alone in my perceptions of the profession either. I try to be optimistic about the upcoming changes, but since they don't even seem to be upcoming (Our "In Development" topic is now focused on the GCW instead of droids) it's rather hard to be optimistic. Ah well, at least a steady supply of BH's keeps my coffers full, and the slowly spreading word that Probots, while not un-"nerf"ed are at least a viable alternative to the non-CH pets, generates new business. If any other DE's on Lowca come here, contact me sometime, I'd like to compare prices with you vs. what I have, so that while we may compete for business, it's healthy and not cut-throat.
