I'm a master architect as well as a DE, so i can make power cores for my own power droids.

The only problem is, its not really worth it. Power cores take just over 2k in resources (and are slightly fiddly to make), and for a droid with only one Module slot, and a broken ability to "Charge" other robots, its just not worth the time.

What they should perhaps do isswap that component for a Light Power Core (another architect thing). They take just over 200 resources, and a simple to make.

Why cant i build a power droid? I talk to a Master Artisan and he said he cant make power cores, last week when i hit master DE, on the skill chart Master Arts could make them and now today they cant **edit**. Are there plans to fix this or not? OK next rant where can i find ditanium steel, or Lidium Ex ore, god that made me mad when i found out i could not build level 5 and level 6 storage units or a Cp3o unit. SOMEONE MAKE THEM FIX THIS PLZ!!!!!

I had the same problem but I checked with an Master Arch. and found out that they can make the power core units you need for the power droid.

As to the resources, check SWGCraft.com for information on spawns on your server.

I resources are a problem for you, you might also want to check out the stickied thread regarding the TC additions to our profession - if you plan on making droid stimpacks with the next patch you will find yourself needing a decent amount of new named resources.

Ditanium isn't as rare as it used to be, but it is also used for weaponsmiths - which means it's after-market value is rather high. Remember that you can buy the crappiest Ditanium that you can find - quality will not matter when constructing a Protocol droid.

The best idea is to start looking/mining the named resources before you hit master, but it's certainly not impossible to start now.

If you plan on making a fair amount of R-series droids or Probots, you will also want to find a good supplier of Extrusive Ore. Lidium is relatively rare, but remember you can stack two level 4's to make a level 6 - but now, with the cluster bug fixed, it will take up two slots.

Master Artisans could never make the power cores required. This has been an Architect craft since beta.
