Has anyone asked the question / checked on TC wether Droid reconstruction / repair kits work on AT-ST Faction Pets....
I can't see why they wouldn't (technically)
Would be awesome if they did.... ?

But they are mechanical akin to droids...
Troopers can be healed with normal stims...
Would be interesting to test though (HINT HINT)....

An AT-ST is a vehicle, much more akin to your land speeder, than they are to droids. If they make them healable with droid repair kits, that's a farce.

unless they put it in specifically (which would have been in the patch notes) they won't work. The devs have classified AT-ST's as vehicles right now, which is the same reason a droid with a repair module doesn't heal them. I can try testing it sometime, but I highly doubt it.

I'd suggest testing it. There were timesi n the past when power droids could heal mind-wounds on them.
They may be 'vehicles' to us, but they are still just pets to the game-logic. You may yet find some loopholes

I'm not saying it's right, I mean an AT-ST with someone spamming repair pack D's on it would be nigh on unstoppable, and far too powerful.
However it would be great to be able to heal them (how about only the wounds being healable, and only when the AT-ST is not in combat - that wouldn't be too overpowered now would it
)
I mean they are so expensive to obtain (will cost me 18,000 FP !!!)
Would just be interesting to know..

Bye the way if you go this way, as AT-ST are vehicule, Dark Trooper are droids and should not healed by regular stimpack,a R2 unit can hack easilyany terminal and so many more ....but as everyone may know SWG is not SW... no definitly not ...

No, I mean I remember the devs saying a couple months back (right about the time they made it so AT-ST's couldn't be healed anymore) that they had been reclassified in the games system as non-ridable vehicles. This could have changed in the months since then, just what I remember.
