At the moment the droid must be transfered to the medic, there is no other way.
Descriptions and useage requirements: chat with the droid engineer before purchase, there is no better way. Some of us DE's add lots of info to the sellers description on Vendors, but you'd be supprised how often people don't bother reading it, then they tell us they can't use the droid.
Only the medic needs to keep a slot free, your stimpak droid can be your fifth droid in your datapad, which ishouldn't bea huge burden for medics. DE's all hit this limit since we have to test new modules out by building new droids. There is no answer, except that limits are there for game balance or because of database limitations.

hi all,
got a question pls.
is there any way a medic can refill the stim pack dispenser modules without the need to transfer the whole droid to the medic?
atm it seems i have to trade the droid to the medic to get it fillled, that is silly and sucks.
first off describtion and use requirements on droids are simply bad or not existing.
2nd it cant be sensefull to force us (if non medic) to have me and the medic have a droid slot in datapad free, just for transfering that droid to get it filled. such should work with consent or such, but i couldt find yet a way wihout transfer it.
pls help with info

I know we can only use stimpack As, but how do you give them to the droid?

You must be a Medic to load the Stims into the droid. You can also transfer the droid to a Medic, have them load the droid up with the Stim A, and then transfer the droid back.
At least that is what I got from reading up on the subject....

Thats what I forgot to mention...looks like I need to do a few refresher courses on my catching up, before I have all of the facts straight.

you can also transfer the droid to somebody with Pharm 4, load it up, then have them transfer it back to you.

How are the stims then dispensed by the user targeting a player and healing?

You select the droid then type /request Stimpack then you get healed.
If your not the Droid owner, you need to be grouped with it.
A macro works very well with this.
