So tonight im making some droids for the first time.. I started making some harvest modules that came out with 17 rating each. The Combat Capable cluster turned out as 51 rating..
Now, as I understand it I can put 3 of those combat capable clusters into an Adv R3.. If this is the case would the harvest bonus come out to be 153 if I used 3 of these 51 rating clusters?
If I wanted to make a droid with 2 socket clusters that are the 51 harvest rating.. could I use the 3rd cluster to do stuff like medical, combat or auto repair modules??
I cant find info that suggest otherwise, so I figure I'd ask here.

The R3's only hold 2 combat clusters. You can always sacrifice harvesting ability for other things, but it won't harvest as good as one with the maximum rating.

The Advanced R3 can only hold two combat-capable clusters or 6 modules total. That's the max number of modules for any of the droids we can make. Two clusters is the most you can put inside the droid.
A little while ago, I made an Adv R3 like you were asking about with two clusters of 3 harvest modules each that had a 51 rating. The final droid came out with a 104 rating after adding up the hidden decimal points on the clusters. With better resouces, it might have come out a little better.
If you want to put any other type of modules in the droid, you'll have to sacrifice one of the creature harvest modules. That will lower your final bonus rating. If your customer wants the "best" harvesting droid, then you'll probably end up filling it up with all harvest modules. They can buy another droid for their medic/item/whatever needs. You might get another sale that way!

Ahh, I was mis-reading the schematic I guess. The droid turned out with 103 harvest. I guess thats not bad for my first one, and with resources I obtained within the last few days or so.
I made it for a friend and I think she only wants it for harvesting. So I just put 6 of those in, and 2 lvl 4 armors and experimented the HAM way up so its able to take a hit just in case.

Congrats! making a 102 <2 - bonus 51 clusters> is a great job for a first try :-)
