I'm looking for a Master Droid Engineer to be my droid supplier on the FarStar surver. I have a few different needs droid wise but wish to discuss them and take recommendations from a professional. Please post here so that we can talk. Thank you in advance.

then join me on the General Any Topic board. There are many factions there, you can join the WFN Team and help me out, it's hard to keep an eye on all the boards at once.

Take it easy guys...I'm looking for information on droids and figure a good place for that might be in the Droid Engineer forum. Granted I am looking to also purchase droids, but my main reasoning behind this was information. Why did I specify the server I play on you ask? Because a lot of the time I find that I talk to someone and really like their ideas but then must seek out a person of that profession on my server and in a sense start over trying to explain the conclusions I came to with the someone else.
And as for posting in the FarStar server or any other server specific forum, a lot of them have become more social than game informitive and not all players or all professions read them.
I'm a Bounty Hunter...and if someone was in need of my help or in need of information on my profession I certainly would not lash out at them and tell them to go to another forum. This is the Droid Engineer forum...where Droid Engineer questions can be asked and answered...where's the problem.

Garrac - I think the main problem is that you haven't asked any DE questions. You've just asked for a server-specific Droid Engineer, which would, indeed, belong in your server forums.
However, Anaken_Walker here has been going a little nuts in our forum condemning posts that may or may not belong here. Haven't seen him post anything constructive/usefulabout our profession yet. Strikes me as a mod-wannabe.

But Trade Forum I have some serious doubt about that.
What would a DE do on the trade forum anyway?
Buy overpriced and half-usefull tapes?
Buy overpriced resources?
Buy rare DE loots?

I apologize if this was some sort of intrusion on the DE forum...but my intentions we in all honesty just to find a DE to talk to and have some questions answered. Yes...I did have an order to place also...but there were some questions that I needed answered about Stim Droids and Explosive Droids. And I'm sorry to say but a lot of the time the server specific forums are more social than game oriented...especially when Euro Soccer Playoffs are on.
I just figured a good place to go was the DE forum but I didn't want to have my questions answered and explained to me by a DE on Eclipse and then have to try and explain what I learned to a DE on FarStar. I hope that makes sense. To any extent...I'm sorry.
And to the forum wannabe mod...ugh...not even worth it.

Garac, don't sweat them man. Nothing wrong with your post at all. Some people enjoy trying to bully people around. The person who told you that isn't even a DE, just somebody trying to push people around.
Your post is fine. You wanted a DE, so you came to the DE boards, nothing wrong with that.
