For merchants, there should be a Vendor module. So the droid could act as a vendor a merchant can park anywhere. Like in the Bank/Bazaar area in each major city. And Limit the stock the vendor can carry to whatever the droid's item storage can hold (usually 10).
The BLL would be perfect for this, since it's supposed to move cargo right? And it could hold 3 modules, Barker/Vendor/Item Storage.
It'd also give us reason to build Power Droids since they can't run on batteries for very long.

Um, I think we'd all like to see this... this means it will never happen....
