Ok the ADV LE droid has 3 slots right? Now you can put 1 combat module and 2 of the new repair modules in him, and he'll fight crappily, and repair himself? This sounds like a good idea for a ranged combatant. Also, can he have armor as well? or does that take module slots? And the LE can have a voice chip correct? Appreciate if someone could get back to me and let me know.

yes he can have armor as well. he can even have the maximum possible armor if the de making him has access to level 6 armor modules. everything else you said is correct.

Yes. Armor does not count against the module count

If you're talking about the personality chips, then yes. The LE can use any of them

woot! thanks for the replies. This is sounding like a good idea. Now gotta track down a couple DE's on Shadowfire and get an idea for pricing.

btw, I got this droid, it works VERY well. I would recommend DE's suggest this to ranged combatant customers. Probots for killing, LE's for tanking.

np Janis Also you might want to offer variants to scouts with 2 trap modules. The repair thing is ok....but it eats batteries like crazy! I think in hindsight I'd have rather had a trapping droid as well, then I could holler for him to throw glow mesh at them soften them up even more.

I will craft some variants to see. But the high HAM makes it a good tank even though it's as slow as bantha poo. Scout traps... Got it...

Janis, hehe I forgot to pick up some droid repair kits from ya! The LE did go down eventually, 2 hurtoon howlers, 2 huurtoons, and a baby on him, but still he did his job properly, I got the 2 howlers down before he dropped and cleaned up the rest myself. How much do you charge for a crate or repair-D's? Also a crate of batteries?

I'm hunting on Dant right now, gotta grind out that XP but I'll make a trip down to Corellia tonight to pick some up if you could throw some on your vendor.

Also when this guy expires I'll get a trap version off ya. Right now I have an adv R3 6 trap module droid, but he's worthless, he squeels like a girl and runs from any aggressive creature. The great thing about trapping droids is no combat que delay for the droid to throw the trap, as opposed to when I do it.

I carry both probots and LE tanks on my venor in thorn beach <Naritus server> so far everyones been happy with them. I also put an auto heal in my probots, it takes from thier combat rating but it keeps them operational longer and so far that seems to be preferred over a stright 5 combat module probot. The LE's have 6000 HAM and my probots have between 3008-3200 HAM depending on my experiment success rate.
