Hello DEs, I just started a new char today and I was planning on goinginto DE, the prob is I am limited on funds and I was wondering what to do. I have about 100k to spare for doing DE, I have enough XP for novice DE, but what should I do from there.

Well, how much money you have doesn't mean you need any less resource or time to do DE. Once you are a novice, make some MSEs, get better at DE slowly. Earn money from another source, because a Novice DE has no real way to do so. If you are a Master Artisan, use that profession to earn your bread. There is a very good sticky post guide for advancing in DE, and I wish you luck. Since your question was pretty general, you can't expect a much more specific answer than that.

While DE takes a lot of Fiberplast and Steel to grind out, It is a complicated profession. Make sure you are prepared to do a lot of reading and crafting. It takes a high level of commitment and you will not want to give up the skill right away due to the time and resources it takes to master.

I started out as a DE from the day the game launched. The way we had to do it was set up Steel and Fiboplast harvesters, all you can put up (power can be bought for cheap now at least). Then run missions while they are mining for you.

The best missions to do are faction missions, does not matter whether they are rebel or Imp, either way, you are making cash to feed you harvesters, and faction points you can trade in at your faction recruiter for DE exp.

Also If you are a Master Artisan, try and make enough cash to purchase a factory (or better yet take up Novice architect and build your own then drop architect). Once you have a factory, make EGPs, EMMs and control units. Find a price you can sell these for and make a decent profit, then just put them on the bazaar, or offer them to someones shop at lower than they sell them.

Any way you do it, its a long grind requiring an aweful lot of steel and fiboplast and time.
