What is the difficulty here?

Why couldn't they save the points after login. These are very advanced mmicrochip controlled robots. They are meant to do redundant work. And they cannot remember 6 simple patrol points after my character re-logs?

I have to set the same point severy day for my droid. I jsut want to tell it to do it. and then bam it does it instead of having to go lay uot the points every day.

Doesn't anyone else here think this should be a standard feature???

they also don't store them when you store the droid... My guess is its just a database issue, there would be a lot of leftover data the server would never get back.

not saying the reason makes sense, just saying thats probably what it is. Also, all the stuff you listed is stored client side, but since the client has no knowledge of the droid it couldn't store the waypoints.

What I have always felt about the topic of Patrol points is this...

The reason that the patrol points aren't saved is because this could cause problems if you are on another planet A when you tell your droid to start patroling, when the points were set up on planet B. Currently, only droids equiped with a Sturcture model have the ability to 'travel' to a different planet, not that the droid actually goes to the structure.

Just my thoughts
