Hi beloved DE's,

I dont have access to the game right now and was wondering : can someone, without ANY box in the scout tree (not even novice scout) use a harvest droid? If so, does it work? i mean, can that character actually harvest stuff at all?

I don't think you can. I think you need to be at least novice scout to make use of these mods ... much like other class specific mods require the skills to use them.

I might stand corrected though.

Correct. One must have at least novice scout to make use of a Harvester droid.

yes. you do get the experience. initial indications before the things went live were that you would get half the regular experience when the droid does the work, but in reality, you get the full experience. the same is true of the trapping modules.

I have a question to add to that, probably a given but, i'm assuming when you use a droid to harvest materials for you you do NOT gain scout experience from the harvest? and do you recieve a system message or something when your droid successfully harvests a creature? how exactly does it work? thank you.
