i just put together a bunch of general harness with detn mod and the r3 chassis wont except it.

if they arent suppose to go into those harness why does the crafting tool even allow you to put them together?

R3s only use the combat cluster. The general clusters no longer work in combat chasis droids.

A bug the devs left in just to annoy us, unfortunately.

Now, on the good side is the fact that you can put those into non-combat droids and the jedi will never see it coming from a model other then an R3 or mouse.

protocol droids don't take general socket cluster. the BLL does, and maybe the surgical, but nothing else does I believe (which is why, btw, they never should have created two cluster sockets in the first place. they should have just changed the 1 or2 non-combat chassis that take clusters so that they didn't require clusters. but that is another topic all together...)

thanks a ton guys i was so mad after 2 days worth of factory runs and after all that i thought they would be bad at least i can salvage them.

I have a BLL with 3 Detonation Modules. I can't bear to give it to a guildie to watch him make it boom. I had a Critical Fail on the final combine of the one before. I cried for about an hour.

I crit failed the final assembly of a BLL three times in a row once... (well, twice on the frame, once on the droid). That was a sad day.
