Sorry if this is a dupe or has been addressed else where nothing in the search seems to show it but I didn't look too hard.

Make a new droid like the Pit Droids in Ep. 1. They have uses like a BH droid or a survey droid, they have a rating like a repair tool. The rating determines the amount of 'repairability' of the droid on your vechicle. These droids can be used to repair your vechicle while you're away from a garage.

Any ideas pro or con?

If we were to make that an alternative use for the current Repair Modules (and or specialize one of the chassis to perform the task in lieu of a brand new chassis/art project) yeah, it's pretty neat.

One of the problems in getting somthing like this will be that bikes and speeders as they stand now are a money sink in the game (and now that the auto fix/store trick is no longer a trick, a sizeable one) I do beleive Runesabre posted about this several months back in a FF or Astromech stats.

It's a good idea tho, it's a ready made use for a module that we already have, and (I'd think) be tweaked easilly enough.

This idea has been brought up befor and was quite well thought out and addressed a lot of these conserns.
