I'm a ranger, and was thinking of getting the following options installed in it.

- trap launcher

- storage compartment

- stim dispensor.

I would like to know if all 3 in1 droid is possible?

What are teh best stims that can be placed in a droid?

Can this be done in a droid that can keep up with me running with a rangers terrain negotiations?

The fastest droid is a Probot style, you could fit all these modules into it, and it will keep up to you not bad.

for the stim modual, is it only 1 stack, or can a factory crate be loaded?

I understand only a Medic 0040 can load the droid, so will the droid only be able to give me 10-12 stims at a time before I need to have medic reload it. If thats it, its not very usable. If I can get 250 (crate) out of it I would try it.

The capacity of the droid is dependant on experimentation. Apparently (from the DE101 sticky) the theoretical maximum is 100 stims per module. I believe this is 100 stim charges. So by stacking 4 modules into an Advanced R3 along with the scout trap and item storage you should be able to get a capacity of 350 stim charges or even slightly more. But the capacity comes at the cost of how fast the droid can heal you. With the modules experimented for capacity it will probably be a reasonable time between heals. Also stacking four stimpack modules will mean you can only have one scout trap module, making the droid not so good at trapping. It's a balancing act if you need them in one droid. The optimum solution would be to get two droids - one for healing and one for trapping - but I guess you want to use both functions at once.

For the trap modual, can ou only drop 1 stack of traps or is it like the medic modual, where the amount of traps dropped into needs to be experimented on.

I can probly live with only 1 trapping modual, but I know 2 would suffice.

So the best bet for a ranger droid is the following (assuming no combat and harvesting.)

A probe droid

4Stim Moduals

2trap moduals

-- I'll keep my mouse/suitcase droids seperate.

The R3 droids can hold the most, at 6 modules, the probot droids can hold 5, but move faster than the r3's. The probotsalso have built-in combat ability, so they won't run from when damaged by a monster.

Since you stated you'd like a fast droid, I'd probably suggest a probot with 2 stimpacks, 2 trapping, and item storage. if don't need the storage, then replace with a 3rd stimpack module in a probot.

The trapping module are experimentable, and also stack.

If your on flurry, look me up tonight, and i'll be happy to make you a couple different droids, so you can pick & choose wha tyou like best if not, hopefully you can find a DE on your server to do it.

Probots can only hold a maximum of 5 modules.

But R3's can hold 6.
