I can't see this reported so I thought I'd mention it - sorry if it's been posted (if so, drop me the link)
Yesterday, I crafted an Entertainer droid (adv R2) for a friend - all were effects modules - and then deeded it.
When I went into my datapad, the option for programming it appeared. I selected it, and it showed all my pilot skills so that I could transfer them.
Although nothing would transfer - no astromech facility - it initially puzzled me.
As a quick check, I noticed that even my MSE droids were giving these options.
Wouldn't it make sense to only have droids that should have the menu have it on the radial dial?
Or am I missing something (other than a brain)

Sounds like they didn't add a check to make sure that radial menu only appears when there's a Data module installed.
......oops.
They just need to slip in a conditional check on this situation and that should be that.

This is one of the reported issues with all R5, R4, R2, and R3 Units. It is a lot better situation then it was when the feature was first introduced, though it still needs improvement.
The Program Command option, prior to going Live, was showing up on all Droid models and on non-Jtl Enabled accounts. This was changed during testing on TC.

I can't say if it happens with non-JTL accounts (both of mine are enabled), but it did happen with any droid.
My MSEs have no data modules (I have a harvester droid (for testing figures, and an empty droid for the group XP bonus in combat)
My only droid with data modules is an R2 with a level 6 data storage (and crafting stations) - it showed up on that too, but I'm not high enough skilled for it.
Possible check with Devs what the criteria for this radial dial appearing should be, and we can find out what's happening in reality? Or, if it's working as expected?

When in doubt, bug it.
The Program Command option should only be listed on R Units with a datapad installed. Anything else would be a /bug.

My R3 with level 6 data module is filled with over 100 schematics. When I went into the droid program menu, it was reported as being empty.
I didn't try putting any commands in; not willing to risk any of my schematics. Anyone else notice this?
