Thread: End of year veteran rewards

I would like to see the devs come up with some better rewards than the one they had last year. Heres my idea.
IMHO aDE that's been around since the beginning should get some additional experimentation points. This simulates an artisan who has been working at their craft for a long time and should be able to create slightly better items than a younger artisan. So for example your character would receive 1 exp point for each year that your account has been active.
Post here any ideas that you might have for an end of year vet rewards and maybe we can get our correspondent to present them to the powers to be.

Interesting, but imbalancing. More than likely they will do holiday gifts like last year. Wouldn't that be cool if all crafters got a schematic or item pertaining to their profession? Like a different-looking crafting station or a brand new shop sign design?

whys it imbalacning if people can have different rated skill tapes anyway. would make lot more sense for people such as crafters who got something to help with their trade.

Be neat to see the expermination thing but still put me behind in the game since I can not afford +20 worth of Droid Expermintation skill tapes.
What I would like to see is something like last year. Static gift for everyone ie piece of art type object, and a special gift like the holocrons of yore. What I would like to see is Ship Models ala Bantha Statue of the Ships in space. That would be the generic random static gift, now for the cool special, New Schematic for a choosen profession that you have master in. Ie once you open it gives you a list to choose from of your mastered professions in my case, Master Droid, Master Pistoleer etc. And after I click poof schematic in my inv to be used and can be used over and over again like any of of our learned schematics. For DE Shematic I would hope to see Pit Droid Deed (ok I like the little buggers), or some other useful module that we could use.
Well thats just my two creds worth.

I'd like to see the DE toolset made to hold items like a backpack. That way we could wear it and have the storage that comes with pack.

Any type of reward should be "neat" or "cool," but not actually give anybody an edge. Just because somebody has played longer doesn't mean they deserve to be better. This would stop new people from coming.

I, honestly, hope for some new kind of speeder. I can't afford an AV-21 (I never did solo groups even when they paid well) and since my JTL preorder got messed up due to my credit card company taking too long to process my payment (yes, I'm still a bit angry over this, since EB Games cancelled the order at like 6pm and my payment went through at 7pm), I couldn't get the Flash Speeder.
However, to keep this somewhat related to DE, another good idea might be to come up with a new droid schematic with the same module capability as the R3, everybody gets one copy of the schematic to take to a DE for construction. Maybe a run of 'prototype' R7 droids? Sure, they're not supposed to be introduced until much later, but they showed with the B-Wing they're willing to stretch timeline issues a little. Ok, I know, wishful thinking.
